Sunday, 18 March 2012 was the famous Mothers’ Day. Barbara Kwateng Lupus Trust (BKLT) took advantage of this and successfully organised the Mothers’ Pampering Day. The event which took place at the Unity Centre, London, started from 3:00pm and ended at 8:00pm and was attended by about 50 persons including Lupus sufferers, their families, supporters and health care professionals.  At the event, Lupus sufferers and their families shared their experiences with each other. The highlights of the afternoon’s events included an Indian head massage, beauticians, nutritionists and health care advice, all of whom set up stalls within the centre to pamper and advise our guests and principally, mothers.  Some of the photographs taken at the event are displayed on our events page.
